COURTESY POST Max and Sasha were rescued 2 years ago from an old man that was on the news who had 200 cats in his home and Animal Control was threatening to take them. They have both been exclusively indoor cats from birth. Max and Sasha's guardian now has to travel out of the country for extended periods and would like to find them a permanent home. A note from Max and Sasha: We seek a home with people who don't mind petting us and allowing us to sit in their laps every now and then. I love cuddling up next to you on the couch or curling up in your lap while we sit and watch TV. I am a little vocal and I love having conversations with you as we stroll through the house from room to room. I will also ride on your shoulders if you allow me. My only addiction is that I absolutely LOVE being petted. I need to be able to be close to you on a regular basis, like a best friend.
My sister is a little shy at first and not quite as vocal as me. Her voice is very soft and squeaky (like a Persian); however, once she feels safe with you she will come to you on her own and beg to be petted as well. She also loves to follow you around the house. When she gets comfortable with you, she'll begin to head-butt you while she's in your lap to let you know she considers you as her family. She loves getting her hair combed and particularly having her neck scratched.
We were both born indoors and have been raised all our lives as exclusively indoor cats so we do NOT have the appropriate skill set required to live safely outdoors. We both love to play with homemade toys. Our absolute favorite toy is a balled up piece of aluminum foil which we use to play soccer. And we are both mesmerized by kite string and feathers.
We have both been neutered/spayed and currently have all of our shots/tags up to date and we are litterbox trained. Our secretary can provide you with all the necessary medical details. We have our own carriers, bedding, scratching posts, playhouse, litter box, litter and a supply of food that we can bring with us to help get you started.
