Piper and Webster were found together on the street. They were so bonded that when they were in the kill sheler they were housed together, but then they were rescued by ARNO and put in a wonderful foster home. Piper's eyes HAD cataracts, but there is a rare naturally occurring phenomena where the dog actually heals the cataracts without loss of sight. Such is Piper's case. She has equal pressure in both eyes, but there is one edge to a retina he could not see without an ultrasound of the eye. Rather than do that, he suggested that we try medication (prednisone eye drops and pills and a glaucoma drop just to be on the safe side.) We go back in three to four weeks to see if eyes are still okay... she will need to be checked every six months at an eye doctor. She needs drops and is prone to glaucoma.... They are both very very sweet dogs. And are very bonded... They both have been heartworm treated, have all their shots, chipped, spayed and neutered. Webster, the little boy, is the sweetest and is 2 yrs old... Piper, the little female, is sweet too and is only 1 yr. old. Both love to play and love each other very much. Piper is very light blonde colored, and Webster is coppery buff. For more info contact Ginnie at [email removed]. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, shots, heartworm treatment and a chip.
